We grow many varieties of bananas in South Florida: Apple Bananas, Ice Cream Bananas, Mysore Bananas, Thai Bananas, Rare Red Bananas, Praying Hands Bananas, Gold Finger Bananas, Mona Lisa Bananas, Sequoia Bananas and plenty more varieties. This box may contain multiple varieties depending on how many trees are fruiting, ripening stages, and which varieties are freshly harvested each day as well. The quality will be fantastic and you'll receive a total of about 5 pounds of delicious bananas!
Since Bananas are in season year-round in South Florida, we are always able to provide a lovely assortment of delicious, healthy, organic bananas. Some varieties may arrive un-ripened, and therefore, use these simple tips to ripen before consuming:
• Leave bananas at approximately 70 degrees Fahrenheit or above.
• Do NOT refrigerate!
• Use the spots as a gauge of ripeness
• Use the softness of the banana as a guide
